Region V+ Adult Mental Health Initiative is dedicated to improving the mental health of our community through intentional planning and partnerships across the region.

CRISIS TEXT LINE

The Minnesota Department of Human Services announced that as of April 1, 2018 Crisis Text Line (formerly known as Text For Life) has been updated in Minnesota to this national non-profit crisis service provider. It is available to everyone in Minnesota and across the nation 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The support is designed to provide text-based suicide prevention and crisis services to those who are contemplating suicide or those who find themselves in a challenging situation. Trained crisis counselors are continually available to provide collaborative problem solving, help defuse the crisis, and connect the texter to local resources.

2018 Military Mental Health Conference

April 26-27, 2018 at Camp Ripley

This 2-day event (April 26th and 27th) is presented by the Military Mental Health Coalition at Camp Ripley: The MMHC is a military/civilian community partnership aiming to unite community mental health providers with existing services and resources to provide quality and timely care for our service-members, veterans and their families.
