DESCRIPTION:Up to 90% of older adults have experienced at least one traumatic event in their lifetime. By integrating cultural sensitivity and humility into trauma-informed care practices\, healthcare\, social services\, human services\, and senior care providers can offer compassionate\, effective\, and person-centered support that recognizes the unique experiences of older adults across diverse cultural backgrounds.
